Addictiveness and WITHDRAWAL:
Degree of Addictiveness:
Ecstasy is mentally additive and it is moderately addictive. This is because when you take ecstasy you feel an extreme sense of euphoria. As a result of this ecstasy is very addicting and teens will keep taking it to feel happy and energized. The drug does not physically make you addicted but the user wants that feeling of happiness so they keep taking it.

RATING OF DEGREE OF ADDICTIVENESS & WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS:
0 1 2 3 4
no impact minimal impact moderate impact strong impact very strong impact
REASONS FOR YOUR RATING OF DEGREE OF ADDICTIVENESS & WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS :
The addictiveness of ecstasy was a rate of 3 because the symptoms can lead to further issues, such as depression, this can lead to mental health issues and lead to harming yourself or even committing suicide. Also the drug makes your body create more serotonin so after you stop taking ecstasy your body is unable to create as much serotonin it did when the user was on ecstasy, this can lead to depression. Serotonin is a chemical in your body that creates pleasurable feeling. This has an effect on your body so you don’t feel the same high that you felt the first time you took it. The users keep taking it to feel how they felt the first time they used it. By doing this, this creates their body to get addicted to the drug and it is harder to withdrawal. Although ecstasy isn't as bad as cocaine or marijuana it still has very harmful effects and can be just as life threatening. Therefore, due moderate level of addictiveness and the strong and harmful withdrawal symptoms I have rated ecstasy addictiveness a 3.
